Robert Heal Robert Heal was born in Moorestown on October 8, 1924. He graduated from Moorestown High School in 1942, then joined the US Army and served in WWII. We are trying to confirm that Dr. Heal gained his first medical experience during the war. After the war, he attended Drexel Institute, Philadelphia, Illinois Tech., Chicago, Ill and University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Heal graduated from Univ. of South Dakota School of Medicine with a BS degree in Medicine in 1947 and a MD degree from University of Pennsylvania in 1949. After graduation he interned at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and had a general practice residency at Chester Hospital, Chester, Pa. He settled in Delanco and set up a clinic in his home in 1954. He practiced family medicine in Delanco for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He was on staff of Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital, Riverside, NJ. He was married to Marjorie Jessup Heal for 60 years. He was member of Burlington County and NJ Medical Societies. He was a member of Westfield Friends Meeting in Cinnaminson, NJ., Delanco Senior Citizens and former member of the Brant Beach Yacht Club on Long Beach Island. Dr. Heal died September 25, 2018 at the age of 93. His interment was private. US Army ? WWII 1924 – 2018
